DOQ Members - Enter Your Quilt

Quilt entry for the 2026 quilt show is only open to DOQ members.
We are looking forward to seeing the creativity of our members.

Boutique

The quilt show will feature a boutique with fiber and textile items made by guild members. Boutique consignors may donate their proceeds to the guild, or choose to give the guild 25% of their total sales. The boutique funds support our guild’s activities/programs. Items need to be handmade, but not necessarily quilt themed.

Silent Auction for Charity

Theme: Serving Others with Needle and Thread

Please consider making a small quilt or wall-hanging that showcases your favorite block, fabric, color, or design for our charity auction this year. The quilts should be no larger than 24″ on any side and no smaller than 10” on any side. The quilts will not require traditional hanging sleeves or labels. Quilts by Jen has instructions for adding Corner Triangles as Hanging Tabs.

We have selected CORA (Chatham Outreach Alliance) as our our charity this year.  CORA is a non-profit organization in Chatham County that provides nutritious food to families facing food insecurity. 100% of the proceeds from this Silent Auction will be donated specifically to their two children’s programs – SNACK! and Cora Packs.

If you have any questions you may contact Gwen K. or Melody W.
Please see the directory for their contact information.

Children's Donation Quilt Challenge

Hungry Caterpillar Dots

We will once again include a Children’s Donation Quilt Challenge in our show. Contestants will use the challenge fabric in a quilt of any design. The size of the quilts can vary, form 36×36 inches for a NICU quilt up to 40×50 inches for a child’s quilt, and 50×60 inches for a Teen quilt. Let’s see how creative we all can be!

The Challenge quilts will be hung together and attendees will vote for their favorite. All quilts will be donated after the show.
