NICU Smocks . Guild members sew soft front-closing wraps that are easy for tiny newborns to wear. These are donated to UNC Hospitals.
Bead Bags. Guild members stitch bead bags for Beads of Courage. These bags are given to patients at UNC Hospitals to contain beads that they receive during treatments. Each bead signifies a moment of strength and courage.
Eno River Quilts The Bahama Bees are working on an Eno River Quilt Project. They were invited by Ranger Olsteen to provide 4 quilt panels for the new Eno River State Park classroom. There will be 4 panels depicting the 4 seasons of the Eno River Park. Each panel measures 6’x4′. The bee has been divided into 4 groups to create and develop the panels. All panels will share the same back and binding but each group has been left to their own creativity in color and how to depict plant and animal life on the river. The project should be completed by March 1st, 2026.
